How do I change or add an image to my website?

Are you looking to add or replace an image on your site? No matter what type of image it is ― a profile photo, a background image, or an illustration ― making changes takes just a few simple steps.

Below, you’ll find step-by-step instructions for changing or adding any image on your website:

  1. Go to Website > Edit website.

  2. Go to the section where you want to change the image and click the image you want to replace.

  3. Hover over the mouse on the image and click "replace."

  4. You can select from a library or upload your image from your local file.

  5. Click "Insert" in the popup window and "Save" in the top bar.

Website images FAQ

Is there a specific image size suitable for the website?

Because of the way responsive web design works, there isn't a perfect ratio. The header could potentially be many sizes depending on what type of device or screen size the person viewing the website is using. The best practice would be to put anything important towards the middle of the image and things that are less important (that could potentially be outside the viewport) towards the edges.

Is there a specific resolution for the image on the website?

We don't have a static resolution for images. We always suggest placing the highest-resolution copy of images because our image containers will be able to shrink/expand with the greatest quality using responsive web pages.
