Adding a blog to your website is one of the easiest ways to show visitors that your business is active and credible. It allows you to share insights, highlight your expertise, and keep customers updated. Consistent blog content also boosts your site’s search engine optimization (SEO), helping more people find your business online.
You can add a blog to any site you’ve created with Durable. Once it’s added, you’ll be able to create, publish, and manage posts directly from the editor. Once you create your first blog post, the blog page will automatically appear in your site navigation.
Follow these steps to add a blog page to your website:
Click Website in the left-hand menu.
From the top menu, click Blog.
The blog section will be added to your site automatically.
To create your first blog post:
Click the + Add Post button in the upper right corner.
The website editor will open, where blog posts are written and managed.
Enter a description of the article you’d like Durable to create for you.
Durable will suggest a few titles to help you get started, or you can hide suggestions and write your post from scratch.
If you select a suggestion, you can adjust the prewritten prompt or click Generate to let Durable create the content for you.
If the generated content isn’t quite hitting the mark, click Regenerate at the top of the page to try again.
Once your post is ready, click Save in the upper right corner. After saving, the Publish Post button will appear. Click it to publish your blog post live to your site. Alternatively, you can continue editing the post to update the text, images, colors, and layout to match your brand.
After the post is published, Unpublish Post and View Post buttons will become visible. Use these to remove the post from your live site or to preview it as it appears to visitors.
Once the blog has been added to the site, blog posts can be created at any time from the website editor. When editing a site, click the + Add option in the top menu bar, then select Blog Post.
You can also manage your blog posts from the Website > Blog section. Each post displays its title, author, published date, and status (Draft or Published). Click the More options menu (three vertical dots) beside any post to open available controls:
