Adding a Google Analytics tag to your Durable site allows you to monitor how visitors interact with your content. By tracking page views, user behavior, and other valuable data, you can make informed decisions to improve your website's performance.

Follow the steps below to integrate your Google Analytics tracking ID with your Durable site.

Before you begin

  1. If you don't have a Google account already, you will need one to proceed. Please check this page to create your Google account.

  2. Login to Google Analytics and create your Google Analytics account.

How to add Google Analytics code to your site

Note: The settings seen in the example above are not those we are suggesting you set. Please configure your Google Analytics account, to suit your requirement.

To insert a Google Analytics tag, you can put it in the Custom code section.

  1. Go to your Google Analytics account and Installation instructions page.

  2. Click Install manually, and copy the code shown in the box. Keep this tab open because you will need to come back to finish the process.

  3. On your Durable website dashboard, go to Website > Settings.

  4. Scroll down to the custom code section.

  5. Paste the tag (code) to the header section.

  6. Click "Save" on the Durable Settings page.

  7. Go back to the Google Analytics tab and click the "Test installation" option.
This checks to ensure the newly added Tag code is seen.
Note: If this fails, wait 5-10 minutes before pressing it again, as sometimes the code takes a bit of time to be seen LIVE.

  8. Once you see the Test complete, you will see the following confirmation:

  9. Once the tag is detected, click "Confirm"

  10. Thats is it!
Google analytics will start tracking your site.

It may take up to 48 hours before your property starts collecting data. Please also see this page on Google Help Centre for details.
