Sections are the smallest unit of website components that you can add to your Durable website. You can mix and match different sections to create a personalized website that suits your business needs.
How to add sections to your site
To add section(s) to your site,
Go to Website > Edit website.
Move your cursor where you want to add a section.
When you click the section type, the AI will generate the section for you.
Click "Save" in the top bar to save the change.
How to edit the sections you added to your site
Go to Website > Edit website.
Click the "..." next to the section you'd like to edit and click "Edit section"
Alternatively, you can click the part you want to edit, and the Settings panel will open to edit.
You can edit the content of the section in the settings panel that pops up on the side. Generally speaking, the pencil icon will indicate content that can be edited. Depending on the section, the settings panel may look different from the screenshot below.
Click "Save" in the top bar.
How to change the tone of a section
By default, the tone set in the Brand will apply across the dashboard and website. To change the tone of an individual section, please see the following.
Go to Website > Edit website.
Click on the three dots next to the text to see other tones.
Choose the new tone and click it. The text will auto-regenerate itself.
If you're happy with the new tone, click "Save" in the top bar.
Delete the section on your site
Deleting a section is irreversible. Deleted websites and businesses can not be recovered. Please proceed with caution.
To delete sections on your site:
Go to Website > Edit website.
Hover over to the section that you want to delete, and click "..." on the section.
Click the "Delete" button on the section.
Confirm the deletion in the popup by clicking "Delete."
Click "Save" in the top bar.
Move the sections up/down
Go to Website > Edit website.
Hover over to the section that you want to move up or down.
Click the upward or downward arrow to move the section up or down.
Click "Save" in the top bar.
Duplicate the sections
Go to Website > Edit website.
Hover over to the section that you want to duplicate.
Click the duplicate button.
Click "Save" in the top bar.
Sections FAQ
Can I recover the sections I just deleted?
No. Once the deletion is saved, we cannot recover the sections that have been deleted.
How many sections can I add per page?
You can add 20 sections per page, regardless of your plan. This is to ensure the optimized page speed and prevent a page from being too long to scroll down.
Can I hide sections from the live website?
Not at the moment. We currently do not have a "hide" option for the sections.
I cannot close the Help Centre popup. How can I resolve this?
You can move the "Edit section" bar to the left/right as needed. Please hover over to the section and click the "Move to left/right" button.
