Add and Customize a Single Image Section

Quickly add a captivating single image section to your page.

Highlight your brand visuals or showcase key imagery effortlessly using Durable’s intuitive image section. Whether you prefer uploading personal assets or selecting from our expansive stock library, it’s easy to create a visually engaging experience for your visitors.

Here’s how to start in your Durable website editor:

  1. Click Add Section.

  2. Type Image into the search box for quick access.

  3. Select the Image Section to instantly add it to your page.

  4. Click the three dots at the top-right of your new image section, then choose Edit Section to customize further.

You’ll find two convenient tabs: Content and Style.

Content Tab:

Personalize your image by adjusting:

  • Image: Easily upload your own photo (up to 32MB), select from your assets library, or choose from Durable’s stock images.

  • Alternate Text: Improve SEO and accessibility by adding descriptive alt text.

  • Image Position: Precisely position your image horizontally or vertically.

Style Tab:

Enhance the visual impact of your image by customizing:

  • Background Colors: Align the section's background with your branding by selecting colors or gradients.

  • Background Image/Video: Add engaging visuals behind your primary image by uploading media or selecting from available options.

  • Full Width: Choose whether your image stretches edge-to-edge.

  • Image Fit: Adjust your image to either "cover" the area or "contain" within set dimensions.

  • Aspect Ratio: Select from 16:9 (widescreen), 1:1 (square), or 3:2 (landscape) to frame your content perfectly.

  • Rounded Corners: Soften the visual style with small, medium, large, or no rounded corners.

  • Animations: Bring subtle movements to your section with effects like Fade In, Zoom, or Slide.

  • Spacing: Set appropriate spacing above and below your image (none, small, medium, or large).

  • Minimum Height: Determine whether the section size is based on content or screen size.

  • Divider and Border: Use stylish dividers or borders to separate your image clearly.
