Offering a multi-language experience on your Durable website helps make your content accessible to a wider audience. You can add language functionality using third-party tools like GTranslate or Weglot. Both tools are easy to implement with a simple code embed.

How to Add Multi-Language Functionality with G|translate

  • G|translate allows for a simple widget to be configured and added to Durable websites.

Below is the common configuration, to add the menu to the bottom left of the website:

You can then copy the 'Widget code' and paste this in to Durable custom code (Footer), in the Website > Settings > Custom Code > Footer Code Section.

How to Add Multi-Language Functionality with Weglot

Step #1: Visit Weglot’s website and create an account.

Step #2: Once you've signed up, Weglot provides a simple integration process that requires embedding their script into your Durable website's header.

  • Go to your Durable dashboard.

  • Click Settings > Embed Code/Script.

  • Paste the Weglot script provided in your Weglot account into the header section.

  • Save your changes.

Step #3: Follow Weglot's detailed setup guide to customize languages, toggle style, and placement.

These tools have been effective for several Durable customers.
