Buttons help guide visitors to take meaningful actions—like visiting a page, making contact, or exploring your services. You can add a button to most sections of your site directly from the editor.
To add a button to a section:
Open your site in the Editor.
Navigate to the section where you want to add a button.
Click the edit icon in the top right corner of the section.
In the editing panel, scroll to the Button section.
Click Add button.
Once the button is added, you can:
Edit the button text – Update the label to reflect the action you want visitors to take.
Set the link type – Choose what the button should do when clicked. The available link types are:
Page – Link to another page on your site. When selected, additional controls appear:
Page: Select the destination page.
Open in new tab: Toggle this option if you want the page to open in a new browser tab.
External – Link to a website outside of Durable. When selected:
Website: Enter the full website URL.
Open in new tab: Toggle this option if you want the site to open in a new tab.
Email – Open a new email draft in the visitor’s default mail client. When selected:
Email address: Enter the destination email address.
Phone – Start a phone call on devices that support it. When selected:
Phone number: Enter the number to call.
Section – Jump to a specific section of your website.
Your changes will update in real time within the editor so you can see how everything looks and functions before publishing.
